What I Do
I am a portrait artist and illustrator based in the UK. I studied Art, Design & Media specialising in Illustration at the University of Portsmouth before completing a Master's in Graphic Communication at Kingston University. After a career in advertising and property marketing in the UK and overseas, I decided to return home to pursue my first love of drawing, painting and illustrating.

What I Do
From graphite drawings to paintings on canvas, I love to work in different mediums as well as different scales. I enjoy creating pieces that capture not only the likeness of a person or animal, but something of their essence too. Although my work is often life-like, it is not hyper-real. I love that you can see a touch of human hand in every stroke.

I have a deep respect and fascination for all living things. I draw inspiration from the abundance of it around us; from the forest where I live, to the beautiful creatures of this planet and the amazing people around me. I have always been captivated by the beauty of the human face.
